Bucharest Romania Travel
We used our three days in Bucharest, Romania, including palaces, parks, museums, cafes and more.
Bucharest, the capital of Romania, may not be as ostentatious as some other destinations, but it is one of the most beautiful cities in the country and certainly worth a visit on your trip to Romania. Getting there: The easiest (and in our opinion best) way to visit the city is to fly from Bucharest via the Transylvania border crossing to the capital of Romania. Romania has its borders with Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Turkey, Greece and to some extent Bulgaria. The capital itself is the entry point to the area, which is reached from the plain via a connecting airport, and is an entry point for all countries bordering Romania. Buses are the easiest and most cost-effective way to get to Bukharu, as you do not have to travel by car or plane, and the easiest and best way to get there is by bus.
If you want to discover some of Bucharest's most important sights, you can take a free walk on the walk, which can be found at the city's tourist office or in one of the many tourist shops. You can also join Gaily's Romania tour to show you the capital's most popular tourist attractions such as the National Museum and Royal Palace. If you're interested in local pubs and Romanian nightlife, check out the popular pub tour in Bukharu. We also do the standard and best Bucharest tours that take you to the main sights and a number of other popular places.
If you are adventurous and want to venture outside of Bucharest, consider one of our free tours to other major cities in Romania, such as the Carpathians and the Black Sea. There are some great places to visit outside of Book Romania, but you should definitely stay in the city, which is constantly inhabited by people from all over the world, not just Romania.
Although Dracula never lived there, it is worth admiring the Gothic architecture and indulging in dark intrigue on a day tour of Bucharest. The museum offers free admission on selected days, as well as other places to visit, but it usually costs 3-5 euros if you travel to Book Romania. This should definitely be on your Bukharu route, and you can find it on our free tours to other major cities in Romania, such as the Carpathians and the Black Sea.
To give you a sense of what to expect, the 9-hour journey from Bucharest to Timisoara costs RON 79, while a journey from Romania's capital to Cluj - Napoca takes about the same time and costs a little less than RON 75. While you can do both, you should do Book Romania and cluj in one day, with a day tour of both cities and a visit to the Romanian National Museum.
The main destinations in Romania are Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj - Napoca, Istitutoirea, the Romanian National Museum and the National Library. To see what we think of your trip to the capital, we recommend you to take a look at our guide to the most popular tourist attractions in Romania and a city tour.
